Funeral Arrangements

The visitations will be at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor, FL on Monday March 12th from 2pm to 4pm and also 6pm to 8pm. The address is 1750 Curlew Road Palm Harbor, Florida. The funeral services will be held Tuesday March 13th at 10am at Countryside Baptist Church located at 2525 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33761. Followed by the burial back at Curlew Hills Memory Garden. We will also have a memorial service for her in NH when we return from FL. All are welcome. It will be on March 24th at St. Christopher's School Church at 20 Cushing Avenue Nashua, NH at 11am.

My mom will be buried close to her nephew whom she loved so much, Jimmy Spicer.  She helped plan his funeral in March 7 years ago and loved that cemetery. Florida was where her heart was--in the sun and near the Gulf of Mexico.

  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Mrs. Spicer at a parent teacher conference for my 6th grade daughter last fall and immediately noticed her kindness, love of teaching, and graciousness. She was my daughter's favorite teacher and someone she kept talking about at home. I am sure you will see lots of her students and their parents at the memorial service in Nashua. Her passing has saddened the entire community and she will never be forgotten.

  5. Dear Melissa,
You have taught me to appreciate each day, and to never take our loved ones for granted. I wish that I could attend the service, and if possible, I would love to come to NH later in March. I am thinking about you and your family each day and I am so saddened by this news. Hang in there sweetie and take each day as it comes. Much love,
    Dana in Colorado

  6. Dear Spicer family,
I was one of your mother's students this year. Her pass was and still is very hard for me.Your mom was a Kind,Funny,Caring, and Loving teacher.Although I never got to know her that long, she could see when something was wrong with her student and she would help them no matter what it was.She would let you stay for extra help if you needed it.She might of only been my teacher for a few months, but it felt like a year. She felt like family to most of her students and I wish I've gotten to know her longer. On Thursday the day after her pass a almost every kid in my class went to guidance to talk about it.It was one of the saddest days of my life.I will never forget about your mother, she was so beautiful. She always had a smile on her face.I am very upset I will not be able to attend her memorial service, I will be in CT.She will always be in my heart.I will never forget her.

    Love,
    Alexz Galiano

  7. Dear Spicer Family, including Julie's mom, Sarah
I was truly saddened by the passing of Julie. I learned of Julie's cancer through her mom when I talked with Sarah on a flight to Florida. I had been praying and thinking of all of you everyday. Just by chance, I went onto the funeral sight at exactly 10:00am. I call that a God wink when things like that happen. So at this time, I am thinking of all of you. God Bless. Rosie Pendoley
